Having trouble using your computer? The Center for Economic Development can help! The Center offers courses in 10 different Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Publisher, FrontPage, Outlook, Windows and Personal Computing Skills. We also offer AutoCAD courses and will soon be offering an Internet Securities class. The Center has recently added 19" flat screen monitors, new chairs and a new projector in the computer lab. If you have taken a class with us before, come by and take a look at the new and improved lab. If you've never taken a class at the Center, what are you waiting for?

Most of our courses last only one day during the week, and we occasionally offer night and weekend classes. A schedule of classes can be found by clicking here. Some of you might be saying, "I don't know the first thing about computers". No problem. We offer courses for a wide variety of skill levels ranging from very basic classes to more in-depth classes. You can click here for a description of each course we offer. If you still need assistance, call or email Ms. Blake and she can direct you into the right class for your needs.

We can customize classes for groups of 5 or more who would like to learn more about a particular software package. Special pricing is offered on these classes, and we can work around your schedule to make the training as productive as possible.

Here at the Center we realize with today's hectic schedule it can be hard to get out of the plant or office for a full day of training. With our mobile NETmobile lab, we can come to you and train up to 16 employees per session. Each course can be tailored to meet all of your individual needs.

The fee for all of our open enrollment Microsoft courses is $109.00 per person/per class. The fee for classes with the NETmobile are based on the number of students, hours of training needed, and the cost of materials.
